The addition of low-fat strawberry yogurt infuses a light sweetness to this great tasting natural smoothie. Carbohydrate in smoothie have a slow effect on blood glucose levels and it’s beneficial to diabetics.

Healthy Recipes Amount Per Serving: 187 Calories, 27 g. Carbohydrates, 1.4 g. Dietary Fiber, 3.5 g. Fat, 2.3 g. Saturated Fat

Ingredients:

  • 7 oz. of low-fat frozen strawberry yogurt
  • 8 oz. of strawberries
  • 4 cups of no-fat milk

Preparation:

  • Soften yogurt slightly, cut into pieces. Hull the strawberries, cut each in half.
  • Blend or process ingredients, in batches, until smooth.
